I enjoyed the first Brussels Pecha Kucha night!
Real cold loftlike location with badly designed “vedett” chairs that ruined my pair of jeans…but once the presentations (20 slides not more than 20 seconds per slide!) got going it was an inspiring evening. Nice slides/photo’s from BaseDesign, Jan Kriekels & Paolo Pellizzari, interesting “multimediabricolage” from Bud Blumenthal and a really interesting presentation about food in historical/social context, the Tale of Tales presentation i saw it more extensive about 2 years ago in Leuven (Artefact), the other slides were kind of nice but did not make a lasting impression…to me. Did not hang out afterwards at café Belga for the drinks and “netsocializingwork” because of to much work tomorrow :-(
